The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I love the holidays, starting with Thanksgiving, moving on through Hanukkah and Christmas. For the last couple of years, I've loaned out my blog space to allow my author friends a chance to share their buy links with readers. With Hanukkah so early this year, I'm starting this now. Below, you'll find a short blurb about my books with buy links. Leave your links in the comments section below.

I invite my author/ illustrator friends to post a short blurb and buy link as well. Musicians, if you have albums for sale, please feel free to link that as well. I don't want merchandise other than books, art or music, please. This is NOT a spot for craft items. Thank you.

Art, Books and Music make great gifts for everyone. They are the things that keep giving and feeding the soul.

Thank you so much for the opportunity!
For Mike and Will, "No Flag" meant "come home alive", but will their love survive what happens next?

Captain Mike Kelley does not ignore his intuition, so when sexy bartender Will Hayes captures his heart, Mike embarks on a mission to win him over to a Domestic Discipline relationship. Will accepts with one caveat: Mike must promise not to renew his Army commission. Mike agrees, and they spend a year building a life together, getting married, and starting a business.

Only days before their café's grand opening, Mike receives news that threatens everything he and Will have built. The Army invokes the Stop Loss military policy to involuntarily extend his commission and send him back overseas. Will, left alone to cope with the café, must rely on the support of old friends who may be no longer be trustworthy. Through emails and Skype calls, Mike and Will keep their love and structure alive...until the day a horrific terrorist attack occurs on Mike's outpost.

Mike awakens in a hospital with a devastating injury and no his memory of the attack. As the only survivor, Mike's memory may be the key to national security. Mike struggles to cope with his injury and Will struggles to support the man who always held him up. Both fear they have lost their previous relationship. Will has Mike back rather than a folded flag, but in the aftermath of war, can they rebuild the life they had before? Especially when those closest to them may not have their best interests at heart?

POISONED ROMANCE

GENRE: Poetry

For mature audiences

In this volume of poetry, you will find love lost and its story written on the walls,
industrialism running amok from three smoky towers, a giant war machine that profits from slaughter, a fallen angel that questions a Scientist's authority on Earth, and a man wishing he could join his beloved on a lighter side, away from the dark private hell he is forced into. Also, find out that zombies just do not make news anymore, how one golden idol holds sway over many people, and how the computer game WARCRACK! can starve a gamer to death, just like on the headlines.

Poetry differs from prose, but a piece of poetry can be a story of its own. In POISONED ROMANCE, with eighteen poems showcasing dark imagery and humor, there's always a story to tell.

This volume also features "The Idol on the Square" and "Broken Room, Fixed Photo," which were featured on Writing Raw. This volume also features "Shrapnel" and "The Blood Machine," which debuted in Down in the Dirt magazine.

BONUS: This volume of poetry features a short excerpt of Kristopher Miller's debut novella, THE MAZE'S AMULET.

Thank you. let's try something a little different.
Is it the right time yet to start thinking about buying holiday gifts for your dog-lover friends? May I suggest copies of "The Deadly Dog Show" from Amazon's Kindle store for the friends who enjoy reading good books? It's hard to imagine a better value at $2.99 per copy of this book, which at 80,000+ words long is something like 300 words per penny. This is the ideal "stocking stuffer" gift for all the people who already "have everything" on your list. All you need is their e-mail address to send a gift copy from Amazon. There's also a convenient free Kindle app that they can download from the book page on Amazon if you don't know whether your friends already have Kindle readers. Buy a copy now and take it for a test drive. http://www.amazon.com/Deadly-Roger-Suzanne-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B00E25BM3I/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1374416914&sr=1-1&keywords=b00e25bm3i

The Case of the Displaced Detective Omnibus!

Twilight Times Books announces the release of The Case of the Displaced Detective Omnibus!
This ebook collects the first four books of the series, The Case of the Displaced Detective: The
Arrival, The Case of the Displaced Detective: At Speed, The Case of the Cosmological Killer: The Rendlesham Incident
, and The Case of the Cosmological Killer: Endings and Beginnings, into one
electronic book!

The Displaced Detective Series is a science fiction mystery series in which the brilliant hyperspatial physicist, Dr. Skye Chadwick, discovers that there are alternate realities, and said alternates are often populated by those we consider only literary characters. Her pet research, Project: Tesseract, hidden deep under Schriever AFB, is her means of looking in on these continua. In one particular reality, continuum 114, a certain Victorian detective (who, in fact, exists in several continua) was to have died along with his arch-nemesis at the Reichenbach Falls. Knee-jerking,
Skye intervenes, rescuing her hero, who inadvertently flies through the tesseract wormhole
connecting his universe with ours, while his enemy plunges to his death. Unable to send Holmes
back without causing devastating continuum collapse due to non-uniqueness, he must stay in
our world and learn to adapt to the 21st century.

As Holmes comes up to speed in the modern world, he and Dr. Chadwick team up to solve abstruse,
technological mysteries. The series has been aptly described as, "Sherlock Holmes meets the X-Files."
